I feel incredible amounts of joy while creating playful postcards for others.

While I’m creating I think of the wonderful person who will receive the postcard, the mail carriers who collect and deliver it, and the person who ordered it. I think of all the people these bursts of colour will touch and the little sparks of joy each postcard will create in the lives of others.

It’s so much fun to make these cards, I invite you to make one too.

Grab a piece of paper with a good thickness (water colour paper works well here) and cut to postcard size (I like 5x7).

Grab a bunch of coloured markers or pencil crayons or pens or paints… anything that’s speaking to you and have some fun creating a colourful piece.

You can draw something specific or like me you can just play with the colours as you’re called. Splashing and scribbling and splatting is what I love best.

Write a fun little note on the back or add a quote or share an inside joke… then address it, stamp it and put it in the mail.

You’ve just created a joy sparkler! You rock.
