connection club is an ongoing community project started by wendy woods to bring consistent awareness to the connections we all share.
connection club is choir for the collective, harmonizing the depths of our individual experiences into oneness.
There are four parts to connection club:
hand-painted postcard sent monthly via snail mail as a regular reminder we are all physically connected.
monthly affirmation (written on back of postcard) that connects you energetically to the group and your true nature.
deep listening circle held online during the new moon to support the emotional connections we share.
gather & play circle held online during the full moon to support the social connections we share.

monthly mailed postcard + affirmation
Each month active members of connection club receive a handmade postcard with an affirmation written on the back.
The original artwork for each postcard is created as one large piece and cut into individual postcards to send to each member of the club. Every piece connects together to create the full picture, a reminder that we are all pieces of oneness.
As the artwork for the postcards is created an affirmation is repeated, infusing the energy of the affirmation into the artwork.
Once the large piece is complete and it’s cut into individual postcards, the infused affirmation is written on the back and sent to you via snail mail.
The affirmation is there for you to repeat as you like throughout the month to connect you with your true nature and the energy of this group.
deep listening circle
On the days of the new moon we’ll gather online to presence your current reality and offer a deep listening ear to the others in the circle.
You’ll take four minutes to verbally share with a circle of open hearts whatever is coming up for you. The rest of the circle will deeply listen to you without interruption. Once you’ve finished sharing each circle member will have three minutes to presence their feelings via creative channels like scribbling, free dance, humming, written word, etc. There will be no verbal responses to you directly. Nor will any of the creative work be shared. There will be no questions asked about what you’ve shared, and no problem solving offered.
This is a space to share whatever arises to be witnessed by a group of deep listeners and creatively processed.
gather & play circle
On the days of the full moon we’ll gather online in community to make things together while casually chatting about this and that. You’ll bring a creative project you’d like to work on—it could be scribbling or knitting or beading… anything creative you feel like busying your hands with—and we’ll chat about whatever makes it’s way into the circle that day.
