leaf play

This is our little puppy Pepper's first fall and she's alight with excitement from the abundance of squirrels milling about and leaves blowing in the wind. She likes to chase both.

It's a delight to see this little black ball of fur chase after any leaf that moves with the smallest gust of wind. In an effort to hang onto this I said the other day, “I hope she never tires of chasing leaves.”

My personal love is kicking my feet through piles of leaves created by the wind. The crinkling sound ripples joyfully through my body.

Let's try that this week... Playing with the leaves. Kick them, chase them, jump in them. Enjoy the fall gift from the trees.

…Or perhaps you’d like to join Pepper in chasing the squirrels. If you do, I’d like to be there to cheer you on and giggle with glee!
