54 play practices for adults

We did it, we completed an entire year of play together!

Perhaps you completed all the play practices… perhaps just a few… perhaps you simply read them to let them soak in, marinating for a time.

However you experienced these practices feels like perfection.

Personally I completed a lot of them before sharing the ideas with you. Others are sitting in my inbox waiting to be completed. Some feel more dreamy, waiting for me for another day when I've grown into them.

I've enjoyed getting out of my comfort zone hugging a tree in the front yard for what seemed like an eternity. I realized balloons no longer feel like play to me. (I'm turned off by their smell, texture in my hands and potential hazard to animals and the environment.) I've delighted in doing something I was never allowed to do by spraying a can of whipped cream as hard as I liked.

To celebrate this one year of playing without purpose I've consolidated all the practices (with a few bonuses!) into one neat and tidy document.
